I am who I am.  (is there more that needs to be said?)  okay, I'll play along on the condition that these are not the be-all, end-all of my soul:

 * I am the parent of a young teen who is very much his own person.  I admire his strong sense of individuality but wish he would keep his room tidy and eek out some good manners.

 * My friendships are rock solid strong and provide the balance of belonging.

 * I love the outdoors, different cultures and meeting people whose lives have a sense of thrill.  Poster child for Cultural Creatives.

 * I am single (not lonely) and open to experiencing great love.

 * Politics disappoint me because it seems the leaders are not doing right by the people and environment.
